An Associated Press article released recently reports that home sales are up. According to the National Association of Realtors, sales went up 6.7 percent to 90.3 in the month of April. This is great news and a good sign that things are returning to normal in the housing market!To read the complete article, click here.
Brian, Allison and their young son, Connor, are the newest members of the Providence Lake community. They moved to Providence Lake from Ohio this winter. Over the last few years they have lived in Georgia, Maryland, Germany, Virginia and Ohio. When we asked them what they liked about Providence Lake, Allison responded, “Well, of course, the lake is great, but overall we see this as a very promising development and felt fortunate to be able to get into Phase I.” She continued, “On our visit, we found it all very appealing. The homes are nice looking; high peak roofs, cottage style with a similar feel and quality but not cookie cutter; we like that.” It was also important to Allison that they were in a neighborhood with other young families. “There are plenty of kids for Connor to play with over the next few years as he grows up at Providence Lake.”
