Example homes feature irregular, steeply-pitched roofs constructed of wood shingles, combined with multiple gables that intersect at broad gable ends paired with eaves forming a slight overhang.

Gables, shutters, railings, columns, and a combination of several types of siding, including stone, shingle, paneling, board-and-batten and stucco.
Porches and Overhangs
Traditional cottages have a lot of exterior spaces and the Providence Lake homes have a variety of inviting porch styles.
